According to JPD, Ibn Shaheed has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and recklessly endangering another person.
Cambria County DA Jessica Aurandt, says that attempted homicide isn't usually filed in this type of case, but said that Shaheed brandished a firearm, with the intention to cause harm to others, which escalated the situation.
Officials told CPTN that the shooting happened, after Shaheed and multiple people were involved in a fight along the 400 Block of Cypress Avenue near Lunen Street in the Moxham Section of Johnstown.
JPD Chief Mark Britton says that Shaheed, shot and injured two people, a male and a female.
He tells CPTN that one of the victims had surgery on Friday, while the other suffered an injury to their right forearm.
Now in all, four people were transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown for treatment of their injuries.
